It was just the start
But soon we fell apart.

No reasons were given,
No borders were driven.

A silent crash landing
With a sense of understanding.

There was still hope
But it was difficult to hold on its rope.

Good-byes were felt
Hearts forced not to melt.

The tears were hidden;
The pain wasn't ridden.
